Donating Baby Clothes & Equipment

Donations of new and good quality second hand baby clothes and equipment are gratefully accepted throughout the year.

At Lifeline, we provide practical assistance with baby clothes and equipment for those in financial hardship. We are keen to receive items to include in:

• Our newborn starter pack (this includes 7 of everything a newborn baby needs)
• Baby clothes (up to age 2)
• Baby and toddler equipment, including:
  • Moses baskets
  • cots
  • high chairs
  • bottle sterilisers
  • safety gates
  • fire guards
  • travel cots/playpens

Please note that we are unable to accept any donations of prams, buggies or travel systems. Suggestions for alternative places to donate these can be found on this information sheet.

Donations can be made at our Centre on Leith Walk, Edinburgh during opening hours. If bringing items by car, there is one hour’s free loading available outside the building.
