Fundraising

Two ways you can give to Lifeline that won’t cost you a penny

1.  Easyfundraising

If you use online stores to shop, you can raise money to help Lifeline to continue to support women and families.

Easyfundraising.org.uk is an online directory that links to all your favourite online retailers.

Just three easy steps:

Step 1:      Register free with Easyfundraising.org.uk You only do this once.  Click here to sign up.

Step 2:      From the Easyfundraising webpage click on the link to your favourite online shop.

Step3:       Shop directly with the retailer in the normal way and a percentage of what you spend will automatically come to Lifeline at no extra cost to you

Each time you shop online follow steps 2 and 3 above and you will automatically raise money for Lifeline.

There are over 2,000 retailers on the site including Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, iTunes, eBay and HMV.    Some retailers donate as much as 15% of your purchase.

2.  Gift Aid

Make your donation worth even more – at no additional cost to you!

Gift Aid was introduced by the Government to allow charities to reclaim the tax made on gifts by taxpayers. This means that, if you are a UK taxpayer, your gift can increase by a quarter – at no extra cost to you.

You Give Us      Taxman Adds    We Receive

£10.00             £2.50                £12.50

  • Lifeline can reclaim the basic rate of tax on all donations made by a UK taxpayer.
  • You only need to make one Gift Aid declaration to us, eliminating the need for repeat declarations every time you want to make a donation.
  • Tax can be reclaimed on any gift you have made since April 2000.

If making a donation in person at our counselling centre on Leith Walk, Edinburgh, we can provide you with a Gift Aid form there.
